Lots of great things can happen on Kickstarter. Including a movie. Veronica Mars, a crowdsourced movie-revival of the TV series with the same name just released its first trailer.

Veronica returns to her hometown of Neptune, California, determined to leave her past life as a private eye behind when the murder of a singer interferes with those plans.

The movie project was the fastest to hit $1,000,000 in funding on Kickstarter back in March 2013 and had no problem reaching its $2 million goal. It ended up getting $5.7 million in funding.

The movie hits select theatres on March 14. Watch the trailer below:
