Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy of art and design studio CW&T experimented with a production process called "Thin Shell Jamming Bladder Casting". It involves grains, glass marbles, spiral pasta funneled into a custom made sac.

A little plaster is poured into the hollow, then swirled around before it's left to dry. Then the artists let the air back into the balloon and a brand new cast can be removed. Check it out below:
