A design firm has come up with an incredible idea that they believe could help Columbian citizens walk around without constant fear of stepping on a forgotten land mine.



This SaveOneLife concept works like a wearable mine detector. The idea involves printing a special coil on a thin conductive material which produces an electromagnetic field. This helps to detect any other electromagnetic field from large pieces metal nearby.

Once the device detects a something it will warn the wearer to watch out or change direction by sending a signal to a special wristband. You can learn more about the tech here.
