Think your 4G speed is great? Think again. In addition to K-pop, South Korea has become home to the fastest Internet connections on the planet. And they could get even faster by the end of the year.

There are currently three different kinds of common LTE. Regular basic LTE, which tops out at around 75 Mbps down, and then faster LTE-A, or "Advanced", which gets between 150 and 225 Mbps second. But by end of the year, SK Telecom will offer something called "3band LTE-A", using two frequencies to achieve 300 Mbps mobile connections.

An 800mb movie can be downloaded in 22 seconds compared to the oh-so-long 85 seconds it would take over regular LTE and 43 seconds over LTE-A.

What would you do with such fast Internet speeds?
