Microsoft has been outed by YouTube content generators that the company has been offering to pay increased ad revenue to video producers who mention Xbox One in a positive light.

The news comes from Machinima UK YouTube channel's Community Manager (who has since deleted his account in shame), which revealed its users could earn an extra $3 CPM (earnings per thousand views) as long as their video output included 30 seconds of Xbox One video and gave positive comments to it.

The tweet outlined the basic details of the deal, but has since been deleted.

But really. Who hasn't done something like that before? [Ars Image credit: Rego – d4u.hu from Flickr]
