Sony launched the 10.1-inch Xperia Z2 Tablet and it is damn impressive. It is ultra thin, and is waterproof. Measuring 6.4mm, it is thinner than the company's Xperia Z1 which is 8.5mm thick.

The iPhone is 7.6mm and the iPad Air is 7.4mm for comparison sake. Thin also means light. Weighing in at 426g for the Wi-Fi model and 439g for the LTE/3G model, it includes a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and an 8.1 megapixel camera with 600mAh battery and full HD screen.
