Believe it or not, but selfies are leading to a lice problem. According to California lice expert Marcy McQuillan who went on record, "I've seen a huge increase of lice in teens this year," she told the SFist.
Typically it's younger children I treat, because they're at higher risk for head-to-head contact. But now, teens are sticking their heads together every day to take cell phone pics."

Of course, this is just one expert's observation, but if you think about it, group photos of people pressing their skulls against each other may be what's causing all this to happen. What a weird way to get lice. Who knew the friend next to you had it.

"Selfies are fun," McQuillan added, "but the consequences are real."

The advice? Don't press skulls together? We're lost here. How do we do this proper?
