Jaguar has its new XF R-Sport, a new trim designed for the lower reaches of the XF range. It is available on either of the two body styles. The 2.2 liter engine pumps out the same 160hp as before and the manufacturer says it's increased the size of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valves and "revised the cooling assembly" for a marginal 6g/km CO2 gain over other older cars.

The R-Sport doesn't do great things performance wise, as it takes a leisurely time of 10,5 seconds to hit 100km/h.

Other details aimed to set the R-Sport apart are the “Sport” front bumper, “R style” sills, as well as a subtle spoiler at the back. “Ursa” alloy wheels 17 inches in size complete the look.

We'll be seeing this at Geneva.
