You might think this is some crazy cool looking pop art but it is in fact a microscopic view of a tiny electronic device. The image was captured by Matteo Bruna from the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge.

It shows a circuit made from graphene and built on a branched structure of plastic instead of glass. Graphene, you're pretty magical. You're now into art too, huh?

The image is one of a selection of images on show at the Cambridge Science Festival from March 10th.
