Getty Images have a collection of some of the world's most amazing photos. Now, you don't have to pay for licensing fees because they are making its photos embeddable.

Getty Images' new Embed Tool allows you to insert a huge portion of the wire service's photos into your personal blog—as long as you're not using the images for commercial purposes.

The iframe widget above is just one possible example.

By letting people embed Getty photos, the company can access a lot of untapped data. In fact, they can gather user information and run ads within branded embeddable frames, like YouTube ads.

This way, Getty is going to tap a market they never could before, since Getty images aren't free.

By providing an embed code for WordPress, Twitter and more, Getty hopes to incentivize legal photo uploads, in the same way Spotify offers free music streams.
