There's nothing worse than realizing that your half carton of eggs have gone past their expiry date. But you can stick them in the freezer to preserve yours a little longer (as long as they're not too close to their expiration date).

Of course, you're not supposed to toss them whole (shells and all). Crack each egg into ice cube trays before sticking them in. You can also freeze separated egg whites and yolks if you have any leftover from baking. Just remember to label how many egg whites and yolks are in each container.
