Harvard just listed a new job - they are hiring a Wikipedian-in-residence. The job will pay by the hour. What does a Wikipedian-in-Residence do? They will handle all things Wikipedia for the institutions or companies.

The position is for the university's rare books library, so you'll have to do tons of reading for this one. It will be from "adding sources for existing pages" and "creating new pages on notable topics".

The job will also include uploading more content to the public domain for everyone else to enjoy. That means, for the rest of the world, more content to read! As for qualifications:  "Candidate must be a registered Wikipedian in good standing, with substantial experience in writing and editing Wikipedia articles, and possess knowledge of Wikipedia standards, culture, and rules."

The job listing stipulates that the gig will only last 13 weeks. Pay is $16 an hour.
