Self driving cars will free up a lot of our time focusing on the road. So should there be a new set of rules and regulations on the road? Like, can you drink and then "drive" after?

There's going to be a lot of regulatory arguments, and debates and this will be related to privacy, security, safety and liability. In California, the first self driving car is slated to arrive as early as 2015. So the Department of Motor Vehicles met last week to get some input from automakers and tech companies on some of the proposed regulations.

A draft proposal will be posted this summer and anyone will be able to weigh in on the new laws.

Obviously you are not allowed to drink and then drive a car. But what if your car drove itself? What do you think?
