Opening a tightly-sealed package can be really frustrating if you don't have a blade or scissors to run through it. But with this rip cord, getting through the tape is much easier and less annoying.
Like its name suggests, the rip cord has a string stuck to the tape. The tape is placed in a way where the cord rests between the gap of the box's flaps. To open the box, users just have to pull on the cord.
This clever product is being developed at Quirky, and we hope to see it on the market soon.
