One of the world's favorite TV shows has finally run its last episode on Monday. The end of How I Met Your Mother's season 9 sees Ted Mosby telling the ending to how he met Penny and Luke Mosby's mother. Just like Friends, you'll probably watch HIMYM over and over again. But we're sincerely going to miss Barney the most.

Barney has been the show's most outstanding character, or should we say, LEGEN-wait-for-it-DARY person. Here's why:

1. He sleeps in pajama suits.


2. He's AWESOME and he knows it!


3. He likes freaking his friends out..


4. He mastered the subject of women.


5. High-fives are for ANY occasion.


6. He gives the Best. Slaps. Ever.


7. His perviness is kinda adorable...


8. You're never short of a party friend!


9. He also has a soft side.. Aww..


10. Despite all the women he had conquered, there was only ONE woman for him.
