Augmented reality is one of those things that are kind of fun to watch. So Häagen-Dazs decided to do something with it with their ice cream. This is the Concerto Timer and it uses 3D Kinect technology to create a "cutting edge" augmented reality experience. Not exactly value adding to your experience, but quite cool anyway.
