VW is gearing up to impress the Chinese market with its Golf R 400 Concept at the Beijing Auto Show. The four-wheel drive Golf R 400 is based on the Golf R, but instead of 300PS, 2.0 liter turbocharged four, it gets an unspecified 400PS powertrain under the hood.

It can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds. It gets a boost in peak torque as well to 450Nm and can reach a top speed of 282km/h. More details to come.
