Good news for lonely coffee lovers based in Japan. Moomin Café has a solution to your solo-dining dilemma by providing you with stuffed versions of the beloved Finnish cartoon characters at your table to keep you company.
The characters are based on a series of Swedish-Finnish books about a family of hippopotamus-like creatures, and apparently have a large following in Japan. All you have to do is show up and order, and these adorable stuffed characters will sit there intently as you finish your coffee or meal.
