Ronald McDonald just got a makeover. He's ditched his traditional yellow costume for a new red blazer with a striped shirt underneath. Also, he's more preppie now because he's wearing a bowtie, which he'll wear only for "special occasions".

According to AdAge, Ronald will play a bigger role in the company's social media channels. Hopefully, it is not to scare kids away.

The new wardrobe was designed by Tony Award-winning theatrical designer Ann Hould-Ward.
