Still relying on your phone for directions? That's old! How about using your shoes instead, if you're walking that is. The folks from MIT Media Lab have designed a smart insole for shoes that will help you navigate based on vibration.

“SuperShoes" allow you to navigate a city without needing to check your smartphone’s maps. That way, you don't go bump into things you're not looking at in front of you. The motors will vibrate in the shoe insoles and respond to where you need to go next.

The app will even connect to your calendar and to-do lists.
