Train surfing. Or dangling from cars. This is the sport of Staff Riding. And it is extremely dangerous. Young, reckless and disenfranchised men in Johannesburg are dangling from vehicles in what is known as high-stakes distraction from poverty and boredom.

Photojournalist Marco Casino decided to explore how this sport was done after watching the documentary Surfing Soweto. Almost like in a movie. Interesting, yes. But is this really dumb? Yes of course. Check it out below:
