Contrary to what's in your imagination, the Internet doesn't sound like a bunch of trolls screaming. The computing power that operates in the background has a distinct sound.

British sound artist Matt Parker took a trip to a data centre at Birmingham City University-Edgbaston, and recorded what he could hear. Give it a listen in the audio file below:
