Body image has always been an issue in the media. From the controversial banning of size 0 models to calling supermodels fat, it seems we're far from done with this topic. It can be damning, and downright damaging to one's self esteem. Here are 10 supermodels who were unbelievably called fat out in the open.

Coco has worked for Dolce & Gabbana, GAP, Tommy Hilfiger, Chanel, Liz Clairborn and Calvin Klein. She is a six 6, and because of that, she was eventually looked over for campaigns. Her agent encouraged her to lose weight, but since then, she has been one of the most outspoken models against anorexia.
