Baywatch premiered in 1989 but was cancelled after only one season due to low ratings. But David Hasslehoff, who was a fan of good-looking lifeguards, decided to invest his own money so that the show could go on. It paid off and Baywatch came back with a bang. It featured busty ladies and chiselled men. So what happened to the stars of Baywatch after that?

1. David Hasslehoff

David played Mitch Buchannon until the show ended. He has since had numerous public appearances in Dancing with the Stars, as a judge on Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent, and even became a pop star with his joke of a song called "Jump in my car". Hasslehoff is estimated to be worth $110 million.

2. Jeremy Jackson

Jeremy Jackson beat out Leonardo DiCaprio for the role of Hobie Buchannon - Mitch Buchannon's son on Baywatch. Looks like Leo dodged a huge bullet there. Since leaving the show, he has been performing music and hosting fashion shows for Ed Hardy. He never really did become famous after that.

3. David Chokachi

David starred as the aspiring Olympic swimmer Cody Madison from 1995 to 1999, but after leaving he only got a number of minor roles in TV. Needless to say, not much from him.

4. Jason Momoa

Perhaps the most successful star just yet, you may also recognize Momoa as Drogo from Game of Thrones. After Baywatch, he joined Stargate, Atlantis and Game of Thrones. he was also Conan the Barbarian and will be in a new movie called Road to Paloma.

5. Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson's name is the most synonymous with Baywatch compared to other stars of the show. She played lifeguard C.J. Parker between 1992 and 1999. It was her breakout role, and since leaving the show, she's appeared in Dancing with the Stars, Australian Big Brother and several other TV programs.

6. Yasmine Bleeth

Yasmine played Caroline Holden from 1994 to 1997 and was named one of FHM's Sexiest Women in the World every year between 1996 and 2001. Shortly after that, she starred in several other TV shows and films, but wasn't that famous after that. She has struggled with drug addiction ever since then and has not worked in the entertainment industry since 2003.

7. Donna D'Errico

Donna played Donna Marco on Baywatch, and since leaving the show in 1998, she has hosted the game show Battlebots, starred in Day of the Dead, and acted in other low-budget indie films. She also followed in Pamela Anderson's footsteps and became a Playboy Playmate of the Month, though now, she is a devout Catholic.

8. Alexandra Paul

Alexandra starred as the less busty lifeguard Stephanie Holden until 1997. She has been in over 70 films and TV shows already since then. Now she's a political and environmental activist.

9. Carmen Electra

Like Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra's name is almost synonymous with the Baywatch brand. She left Baywatch in 1997, and has since made quite a name for herself in show business. From modeling for Maxim and Playboy to being a judge on Britain's Got Talent to releasing several singles and having cameo roles in Scary Movie, Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie, she's still doing well.

10. Traci Bingham

Traci played Jordan Tate from 1996 to 1998 but have since failed to land any signficant roles after departing the show. Instead, she turned to reality TV and competed in Big Brother and Gimme My Reality Show and more.
