Will Roger Federer continue to contribute to lifting tennis' standards? While he lost at the finals in Wimbledon this year to Novak Djokovic, he was clearly the better player. He made more mistakes, no doubt, but had the tenacity of a winner. There's no doubt, he'll remain as the greatest tennis player of all time for a long time more.

1. He's won 17 grand slams. More than anyone else, in history.


2. He's got flair, more so than most and is an all round player.
