The last Facebook post this guy made was meant to be a joke. Cor Pan, a Dutch passenger on the downed Malaysia Airlines MH17 made this joke before boarding the plane:

His Facebook post quickly went viral following what happened to the passenger airline. His fans have poured on his page to share their grief in comments:

Some have even set up a memorial page for Pan where users are sharing more photos.

Some found the joke to be incredibly eerie.

The guy who posted the pic on FB -Cor Pan- making a joke about the missing plane, was on the flight with his wife. Friends confirmed. RIP.
