A number of the victims on Flight MH17 were delegates on their way to the International AIDS conference in Melbourne. Katy Perry teamed up with UNICEF to make this video and it was screened at the conference's candlelight vigil to honor the lives lost.

On Tuesday, Katy Perry released a special message regarding a new video for her song, “Unconditionally”:

The video brings a group of young people, both HIV positive and negative to raise awareness and help fight discrimination.

It calls to attention the fact that one-third (33%) of new HIV infections in 2013 were among young people (15-24 years).

About 700 children under 15 were newly infected with HIV a day in 2013.
