Taken by photographer Sandi Ford, she creates beautiful images of sleeping newborn babies.

The photo series is titled Welcome to the World.

It involves showing babies in a variety of poses, notably one where they rest their heads on their hands.

The babies are aged between seven and 21 days old.

Ford has won numerous prizes for her pictures and it is not hard to see why.

She creates this pose by laying the sleeping babies on their front. She moves their feet forward and rests their heads on their hands.

The babies are already asleep while the photos are taken. 

There are a lot of safety precautions in place during the photo shoots. Parents are also at the shoot.

They are undeniably the cutest thing you've seen. 

This is why people love babies, I guess.
