Durex Apologized For Ad Suggesting 28% Of Women Who "Resist" Eventually Consent
2014.09.19
Durex Thailand made a boo-boo in an ad that translates as “28% of women that fought ended up consenting”. Woah. Stop right there, Durex.
Originally appeared on Durex Thailand's Facebook page, they've since issued an apology.
The English translation of the apology says, it was a "misunderstand" with the text of the ad. It has since been deleted.
Forbes suggests that the ad may have been intended to say that “28% of women that resist end up consenting”, which is still as rapey as rapey can get.
