The VW Passat joins the hybrid party with its GTE model. It promises excellent performance (0-100km/h or 62 mph in 8 seconds), and an all-electric mode that stays all-electric until 130km/h.

It can also travel up to 50km on a single charge. Pretty impressive, we'd say.
