2015 is almost here, and so it is time to make some new year's resolutions. People often make resolutions and never stick to them. The entire point of making a resolution is that you want to change. If you don't bother sticking to your resolutions, what was the point in making them? When you write your list, you should make sure that each point is reasonable. Making huge promises might be fun, but there is no way to ensure they happen. Here are six awesome new year's resolutions you must make.

Get rid of negative people

Everybody has negative people in their life. If you have people that make you feel bad about yourself, it is time to get rid of them. When hanging out with someone is more a chore than a pleasure, something is going wrong. You can't pretend to enjoy somebody's company, when they make you feel down. If you have those negative people in your life, you should make sure you get rid of them.

Change your perspective

Sometimes you don't need a major life change; you just need a change of perspective. If you find it difficult to be happy, maybe you need to change the way you perceive things. You can't control the things that happen to you, but you can control how you feel about them. Talk to a counselor about coping techniques. If you can change the way you see things, you can change your life.

Buy a home

Buying a home might seem like a huge, drastic move, but in reality it's just good sense. If you're renting a home, you are wasting money every month. Paying rent to a landlord means that he or she benefits and you lose out on cash. If you think that you can't afford a home, you should consider a homebuy scheme to help you pay for a house. Remember, once you own a house, you have financial security for life.

Find a new job

Do you like your job? It is a simple question. Answer it. Don't think about it for long, just answer. If your gut reaction is that you don't like your job, it is time for a change. People can live in denial for years. They tell themselves that they like their job or that it is just a stopgap. If you go into work every day and hate it, you need to stop. Make 2015 the year that you get a job that you love. Start by looking at job sites and seeing whether there is anything out there for you.

Be comfortable with your body

Loads of people start a new year by resolving to lose weight. Forget that. Instead, you should use 2015 to get comfortable with your body shape. You don't need to change the way you look to have confidence. In fact, you shouldn't have to change the way you look at all. Instead, work on ways that you can build your self-esteem and confidence. Nobody should make you feel bad about your appearance.

Treat people well

Many of us go through life treating people just fine. It is easy to let manners and general courtesy slip when you're in a bad mood or upset. We could all do with making a little more effort to be nice to one another. It doesn't cost us anything to be polite and friendly. Being nice to the people around you and treating everybody well, will have a huge impact on your life. Once you learn to treat people well, you will notice they change the way they act around you.
