Larger Waistline Means Your Health Is At Risk

Public Health England (PHE) has recently encourage people to monitor their waistline to assess their risk of developing serious public health issue. This is based on a recent analysis conducted by the agency which shows that adults with a large waist are 5 times more likely to get type 2 Diabetes.
Men who have a waist circumference of more than 102cm are 5 times more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes, while women with a waist circumference of over 88cm are 3 times more likely to develop Type 2 Diabetes.
Type 2 Diabetes is a very serious health issue which lead to limb amputations or blindness. Therefore, the only way to reduce your chances of having this Type 2 Diabetes is to enjoy an active lifestyle, and eat lead a healthy diet.
Get your measurement tape and start monitor your waistline. We would also encourage you to start doing exercises, and ditch unhealthy foods.
