There's data to show that men prefer younger women as they age, but what about women themselves? Apparently, it isn't quite the same thing with women.

Dataclysm found that after 20 years of age, women become more open to dating older men. And as they age, their desire to date younger men wanes.

Randal Olson created the original charts of how men fall on the creepiness scale in regards to age. He's also compiled two similar charts for women.

The chart above shows that as women age, the age range of men in the Standard of Creepiness dictates "non-creepy" opens up. But Olson took the data from Dataclysm and applied it to the creepiness chart and found that women tend to stay the course - dating men that fall within the "non-creepy zone."

Women in their lower 20s might go into the creepy-zone and go after older men but tend to even out as they get older. He points out:

Whereas women tend to seek older men (in their younger years, at least), men are doing the exact opposite and seeking younger women. This results in an unfortunate situation for women as they age: During their younger years, they’re highly sought after. But as they grow older, men’s tendency to seek younger women leads to an ever-shrinking dating pool for older women.
