A breakup is not the end of the world, but for a time, it almost feels like it is. Here are some of the 13 steps everyone goes through to recover. And recover we will!

1. We rename the guy who broke our hearts. It will be a much nicer name than before.

2. We start the healing process, with some tears, wallowing, and more tears.

3. Everyone is worried about us, but we tell them we're doing okay.

4. We decide to change our look, because this old one sucks. We need some change.

5. We totally feel like a brand new person, ready to take on the new. Forget about the past!

6. Then it's time for the dreadful socializing. You almost forgot how to do this.

7. You'll spend a lot of time drinking your sorrows away at first.

8. Sometimes, we're not done crying either. It's okay to let it out..

9. Then finally, we decide it's time to stop. Life goes on.

10. We get back on the field to play the game. Hopefully we don't get burned.

11. We manage to flirt just enough for the opposite sex to like us.
