If you're always holding your camera up and taking snaps of yourself, it could be signs of some troubling mental health issues. According to researchers at Ohio State University, men who take a lot of selfies display higher than average psychopathic tendencies.

Psychopathy means the lack of empathy and regard for others and a tendency toward impulsive behavior.

Furthermore, men who prefer to edit their selfies before posting had a higher score in narcissism and self-objectification.

"The more interesting finding is that they also score higher on this other anti-social personality trait, psychopathy, and are more prone to self-objectification," said Jesse Fox, lead author of the study.
