Rejoice! Your mistakes and regrets can now be wiped clean without laser surgery! Previously, tattoos were really tough and extra painful to get rid of. But this researcher is working on a tattoo removal cream that could make your drunken stupor a thing you don't get reminded of when you look in the mirror soon.

Imagine having a tattoo like this:

Sometimes, you wonder if you made the right choice.

No you didn't.

Alex Falkenham, a pathology researcher at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia is developing a cream to remove tattoos. It will be applied on your skin like moisturizer.

Falkenham's topical cream works by targeting the macrophages that have remained at the site of the tattoo. New macrophages move in to consume the previously pigment-filled macrophages and then migrate to the lymph nodes, eventually taking all the dye with them.

For now, the cream is still not ready for commercial release just yet but it sounds promising.
