It's never easy to deal with excited fans. During a song at a Maroon 5 concert, an enthusiastic fan rushed to the stage and wrapped her arms around a very surprised Adam Levine. There was a lot of shock! But he handled it like a pro.

Levine was calm and got the girl to turn it down a notch. He then politely put his arm around her:

When she was escorted off stage, Levine explained why surprise attacking someone is a big hell-no.

“It’s just weird — you’re in the moment and your singing and your eyes are closed and you’re having this beautiful moment, and then the next thing you know someone’s fucking in your face. Super terrifying. Just ‘cause, like, you weren’t expecting it, you know what I mean?”

Still, he was quite a good sport about it all.
