Most of us would never even think of pouring anything inside a watermelon, but The Backyard Scientist decided to perform this creative experiment to see what happens. They melted aluminum and then poured it into a watermelon. And he never expected this to happen:

The aluminum found tiny channels in the melon and created an intricate cast:
