Real estate is scarce in Japan, making apartments really really tiny. This one for example is a room in a Roppongi share house, which will rent for $235 a month. It's cheap, but the only catch is that it's incredibly so small. You'll have no room to stand. Literally.

Located near the Roppongi Hills, it is smack in the middle of Tokyo.

It is a female only share house with six rooms, and they each come with a TV, and wired internet access.

Sounds great, but can really stand living in a place like this?

Our mistake, you can stand but only in some places.
