Mary Ann Licudine created one heck of a gorgeous painting. It features Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki's iconic characters. 30 of them in fact. Titled 'Celebrate Your Inner Child,' it was made with gouache (opaque watercolor paint) and acrylic paints on hand-textured wood board. It's beautiful!

It took a while to finish it. A month to complete it, while she recovered from abdominal surgery.

And it's very elaborate.

Very impressive. It features characters from Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Special Delivery, and many more.
