This footage was captured in Harbin, China, and at least four people were injured when a portion of a sidewalk decided it would be the real-life equivalent to the gates of hell. When the sidewalk gave way, it swallowed them up.

One woman was clinging on to what seems to be an underground cable after the fall. The sinkhole measured 10 meters wide and two meters deep. Watch the horrifying video below.
