Doctors diagnosed DAniel Fleetwood, 32, with spindle cell sarcoma and told him in July that he had only two months to live. He's also a Star Wars fan and he wants to be able to see the new film before its Dec. 18 release. Now his request is going viral.

The mega-fan’s wife, Ashley Fleetwood asked Disney and director J.J. Abrams on Twitter if they’d let him see an early screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” a seemingly impossible request.

The Internet caught wind of the request and quickly got behind his cause using the hashtag #ForceForDaniel.

Even actors Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and John Boyega (Finn in the upcoming film) retweeted his request.

Neither Disney or JJ Abrams have responded, it should be noted that Abrams granted a similar wish for a “Star Trek” fan back in 2013.
