2015.11.11
Never liked bubbly? You probably might after this: According to a 2013 study, drinking one to three glasses of champagne a wekk has been found to delay the onset of degenerative brain disorders such as Alzheimer's and dementia.
According to the scientists from the University of Reading, the phenolic compound in champagne can improve spatial memory and ward off brain diseases...in rats.
According to the results:
These exciting results illustrate for the first time that the moderate consumption of champagne has the potential to influence cognitive functioning, such as memory. Such observations have previously been reported with red wine, through the actions of flavonoids contained within it.
The compounds found in the black wine grapes influence the signals in the brain that control memory and learning and alter the proteins linked to storing memories in the brain.
The older you get, the more these proteins start to diminish thus leading to memory loss and brain disease.
