According to a study, being rich affects a man's preference in breast size. Published in PLOS ONE, psychologists Viren Swami and Martin Tovee analyzed their access to resources and how it influenced their preference for smaller or larger breasts.

They recruited 266 men from Malaysia with different socioeconomic statuses, and each participant was shown 3D models of women with varying breast sizes and were asked to rate them on a scale of 1-5 for attractiveness.

Men who found larger breasts more attractive were poorer compared to the ones who preferred smaller breasts.

In another study, they found that attraction to larger breasts developed over time because larger breasts signal sexual maturity, fertility and the greater ability to nurse.

Men rated larger breasts more attractive because they were hungry, compared to the men who were satiated.
