Garmin is coming to your wrist. The GPS equipped watches don't look uncool either. The company's new Forerunner 220 and 620 have taken a very stylish concept and squeezed in wireless connectivity, touchscreen functionality, color displays and stat tracking to predict how far a run you can go.
The watches feature Garmin's one-inch Chroma display and Bluetooth connectivity. The 620 has the option to connect to a Wi-Fi network for tracking your stats on an accompanying app. It's touchscreen works even while wearing gloves.
The two watches have a built in accelerometer to track your steps and strides and combines them with GPS data to keep tabs on your pace and performance. The 620 goes a step further and can be used to calculate your heart rate and amount of oxygen a runner can consume per minute.
The 620 will set you back $400 while the 220 is at $250. Check out more of it at the links and a video below: [Garmin via Engadget]
