2013.11.15
More like 50 shades of ew! Belgian scientists have reportedly stumbled across a library copy of Fifty Shades of Grey bearing trace amounts of herpes.
This was discovered by a bacteriologist and a toxicologist who teamed up to analyze the ten most-borrowed books from the Antwerp library. Small amounts of cocaine were found in all of the books, but the herpes was only found in E.L. James's masterpiece and one other unnamed book.
And who's to say that this is just an isolated incident? The next time you pick up a copy of the infamous masturbatory tome, you might want to put on gloves first.
