The Snow2 from Recon is the latest ski HUD display, for when you are having smartphone / social media withdrawals up on a mountain slope.

It connects to your Android phone or iPhone with Bluetooth and can be controlled with a button pad that straps onto the outside of your ski jacket. The HUD can be switched between several screens and show either performance information about skiing, or typical smartphone functions like texting and email.

Though it is really a wonder why you would want to email anyone while zipping down a slope. Nonetheless, fun.

The Recon Snow2 is designed to fit into a specially shaped cavity built into some ski goggles, and is available now for $400.
