You probably started your relationship with technology as your mediator, so why not end your relationship the same way you began?

BreakupText is an app designed by Jake Levine and Lauren Leto, to help you send a breakup text to your soon-to-be-ex on your behalf.

The iTunes store's description of the humorous app says:

BreakupText makes it easier than ever to end things with your significant other. No more awkward conversations or phone calls. With BreakupText, you can end your relationship in just a few taps.

Some of the reviews pretty much show that the app is all in good fun, and not really meant to replace break-up talks:

"I've avoided so many potentially awkward confrontations simply pressing a few buttons and letting my former gf know of my unfortunate bear attack," Joey Sher22 wrote in a comment on iTunes.

While some would probably be cruel enough to use the app to break up with a chick, we encourage that you actually have a face-to-face, or phone conversation with your significant other before deciding to end your relationship.
