Maserati may be expanding its range but it is reducing its production. The reason behind this? To create more exclusivity. The automaker will cap its production to 75,000 annually, and this looks like a move similar to Ferrari.

Ferrari sold fewer cars but made more profit the year before. Could this work for Maserati as well? Maserati’s current lineup includes the Ghibli, Quattroporte, GranTurismo and GranCabrio, but will be extended in late 2015 with the Levante SUV and in 2016 with the Alfieri sports car.
