Here's the latest aviation concept from Oscar Viñals and it is called the Sky Whale. Its curvy shape is made to reduce drag and get the three deck plane off the ground in record time.

The concept plane is outfitted with four main engines, two of which are located at its tail and four of them can rotate up to 45 degrees to give the aircraft some serious boost in lift during take-offs. The hybrid-turbo electric engine can also provide the extra energy to help get the Sky Whale aloft.

The plane is fitted with solar cells on the aircraft's roof to power in-flight electronics as well as providing extra energy to the hybrid engines.

The Sky Whale is capable of transporting 755 travelers at a time across three separate decks. The first class passengers would get the top floor, while business is in the middle and coach would be at the bottom level.

The Sky Whale would reduce weight, drag, engine noise, fuel consumption, and flight times. If the concept ever actually makes it to production, Viñals even has a space tourism version (Space Whale?) of the Sky Whale concept in place.
